I finally got the time to replace the bonding system in my boat and when doing so I noticed the bolts and nuts that attach the struts, rudder stuffing boxes have turned a bright pink. I know this is due to the poor bonding but this mean my under water hardware is trashed? Do the bolts go first then the entire piece or at the same time? They are not crumbling yet but I am pretty worried. My zincs are changed when needed and according to my bottom diving service they are not changed more frequently then most boats and they have noticed any damage. If I need to replace struts, shaft logs etc where can I find the best deal?
