Have the diver put the old zinc in a paper bad and set it on the boat!
Sounds like you need to change marinas! I'm in san diego. Not like the zinc
on the boat is a fuel can on the dock.
You are condoning that control by paying to stay there.....oh yeah, I almost
forgot--you are the customer. There is no law for having zincs placed on your
boat by a diver for you to know it was replaced. That really pisses me off.
Next they are going to tell us we can't wire brush the shafts because it puts
residue in the water.
Sorry, just fed up.

I am located in Southern California, and my dive service used to leave
zincs on the boat but now the marina will not allow it. The only parts
that I can tell are pink seem to be the bolts. Hopefully I can get
away with just replacing those when I hual out next and I did use
tinned #8 to replace the junk that was there. Does anyone use a brush
around the prop shaft to help bond it?

Thanks,

Matt
