The people at Magnum probably came from Heart, or Trace, both of which were bought by Xantrex. Both of those companies were in Arlington, just north of Everett.
btw, I put a Kisei 1000W unit in our Airstream - to run the wine cooler, of course! - and it's working fine. Inexpensive, compact, easy to install, but too small for this application. If'n it were me, I'd bite the bullet and get rid of the household fridge and get something more efficient.
