We have a tendancy on this list to ask one another when we could be
asking the people who know, not the people who are simply convenient.
well, I think the tendency is for folks to form opinions
without knowing or revealing the facts, who then talk to
newspaper reporters -- who themselves don't know or reveal
the facts but who then give the appearance that real
community participation is taking place.
