Intel D945GNTLKR "Executive series" motherboard. It's a workstation/desktop board that features onboard VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, sound (you won't use), 16x PCIe, 32bit PCI slots. Throw in a LGA775 Celeron for lower power consumption. As for the RAID, if you can, go hardware. I'd recommend a seperate boot drive for the OS no matter which way you go on the RAID.
