Okay, Finally after about 3.5 days and a lot more patience than I tought I had, I've discovered that the 2006-05-22 nightly .deb works nicley on knoppmyth (esentially debian).
http://tinyurl.com/n6qyu earlier (20th) and later (23rd) were broken and currently the .deb nightly's aren't building at all. Hope you have sime sucess with this.
