All memory checks out OK (man is that a long test!) I replaced the router--it needed killing anyway. No problems so far, but that doesn't mean much. Here's the list of devices on the network:
Server with Marvell gigabit card (also has unused onboard Intel 10/100) Desktop with SiS onboard 10/100 card (was 3com PCI) Laptop with Xircom 10/100 card Wired router running DD-WRT (wireless router with wireless disabled) Wireless router running DD-WRT Linksys PSUS4 10/100 USB print server (forgot about this one earlier--it is now "most likely to offend" in my book) Squeezebox 3 (on wireless) Transporter (on wired, 10/100) And other than some gigabit switches and cabling, that's the whole network, aside from the DSL modem on the WAN side of the wired router. We'll see how this flies. If things behave themselves, this has been the most bizarre router death I've ever witnessed. -- CatBus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CatBus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7461 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34229 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
