Both the DDR memory and the AGP card I want to reuse are 4 years old.
;-) It's a stroke of luck that I can reuse them, and it's even more
lucky that the memory in dual-channel mode is just slightly slower than
DDR2-533! So I won't be really losing that much speed. But upgrading
to 1-2 GB will have an impact, and I might as well move to DDR2 when I
do that.

I'd rather pay a bit now and a bit over time than a whole big wad o'
cash and upgrade everything. I also don't need another PC, I have 4 of
them, including one that's so old it can't even be used for SlimServer
(it's a P166 and I use SmoothWall on it.) I'd rather upgrade one
gradually than get a whole new one.
