But maybe you can have a flac file with n-channels, stream this via digital out to your amplifier and split it there? If this is possible it should be no problem at all using this plugin.
Maybe it would be better to use a mini-PC with an audiophile soundcard where you have more outputs and solve the problem of the remote control (maybe the new remote with the display?!).
