I have no idea how to run a command on Linux and to be honest it is
quite frustrating reading some of these threads on this forum. I
thought I understood something about software but this Linux lingo is
greek to me.
But one is never to old to learn.
I am still struggling with the SSODS instructions regarding the editing
of some files for AlienBBC. It state: Quote
Change the conversion rules with this command:
sed -i '/^[^#]/s/mplayer.sh/mplayer-stdout/;/^[^#]/s@/dev/fd/[EMAIL PROTECTED]@'
/volume1/SqueezeCenter/Plugins/Alien/custom-convert.conf Unquote
My questions are:
1) In what file do I have to put the sentence above?
2) Do I just have to put this sentence in that file or do I also have
to delete something in that file?

Also mentioned is that some other custom-type.conf definitions have to
be used. Should I just add them in custom-type.conf or overwrite the
exisiting data in this file?
