You may not have up to date firmware in the SBC and so no "network test
option" .

Stuttering is the most common symptom and there are lots of reasons
ranging from file read speed, CPU loading, network problems (including
faulty cables), system configuration etc. Just because MP3/radio is
working is no reason to assume that network is OK because MP3 and radio
run at lower speed.

In general with difficult stuttering problem it is best not to assume
anything and check each stage with a specific test.

That said, if you are sure network is OK and AAC is transcoding to Flac
(and not WAV) and you assume the basic Faad and configuration is OK -
then the likely cause is something in the transcoding chain of
applications.

If there are no network problems, then stuttering is as result of audio
not being delivered in time to SB3. The likely causes are

1. Delays in reading the AAC files - such as virus checkers, security
s/w or networked drives.
2. Delays by faad because it is somehow built incorrectly or the
options on the conf file are not appropriate to your system or files
are incompatible with faad in some way.
3. Delays by Flac again because of inappropriate options (e.g.
compression setting too high for CPU preventing realtime encoding)
4. Delays by the OS in sending data through pipes from faad to SC.

If you have not changed anything in the system as supplied by
Ripfactory - then I again suggest contacting their support as it is not
working. Other users of lesser powered systems have no problems with
faad so if you have no network/router problems - it is a system
problem.
