Cheers Ramage, Yeah, I couldn't get the NIC to work on the Intel board, without installing the drivers. There was a solution posted on the Clarkconnect forum but I couldn't see how I could download updates if I couldn't connect the the internet via my router. Also, being a Tranquil, I can't put a temporary NIC adapter in the computer as the form factor doesn't allow this without the use of a PCI riser - which I am too cheap to buy!
This is probably impossible to answer without you knowing my exact setup but once I've installed Ubuntu server, what steps do I then have to take to get Squeezecenter installed and manage the server from my windows pc - i.e. does Webmin/Winscp get installed on the windows pc or the ubuntu server?
