Hope the NIC will be recognised by Ubuntu When you install the server you are given the option of what modules to install. Make sure you select SSH - this will allow you to use WinSCP which is a windows application - just google for the latest version. Webmin is installed from a terminal on the server - check the website for instructions on how to http://www.webmin.com/ I have a simple guide which I have used which I'll post later. If you are learning Linux then everything you need to know is available on the web. The ubuntu help pages and forum are excellent. -- Ramage T5500 1.6GHz, SC 7.2-22869 Win Vista, Alien 2.0 P4 2.6GHz, SC 7.3-23688 WinXP, Alien 2.2b1-7.3 P2 266MHz, ubuntu server 8.10 SC 7.3~24187 Alien 2.4a1-7.3 AMD64x2 ubuntu 8.04, SC 7.3-24187, Alien 2.4a1-7.3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ramage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5343 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55910 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
