Super Q: 1: You can, or you can be up to your eyballs in research. It depends. If you are the one expecting the consumer product experience and you end up with the research then it's simply bad design.
2: Same as the point above. If you bought a Windows or Apple machine, you may need to learn a few things to get up and running, but it will be one story from one vendor, not combing various forums to find support for x flavour of OS. 3: WMA lossless files (with or without DRM) are not supported. The work involved, for me at least, to convert several thousand files and have two libraries so I can continue to support applications using WMA is not worth it. I just wish I knew before I wasted my time on the Ubuntu experiment, thus I am sharing my story to save others the grief. 4: Thanks again -- Rein ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rein's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20498 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60817 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
