Hi,
I'm in the middle of a project to build a standalone SqueezeServer on a
self built system based around the Via EPIA1000CN mobo(Contributed by
GHarris).
I started with Ubuntu but this just consumed all the system resources
and ran like a dog, so I tried Xubuntu and this improved the situation
but not alot.
I have now tried PuppyLinux(PL) and have got a little stuck.
PL has it's own package handler called Pet. to create a pet package
from a debian package I'm told you need to:
Unpack the .deb file(using the latest nightly)
Put extracted files into a new folder with the same name as the .deb
file
Re-tgz and then package up as a .pet file using tgz2pet.
Puppy is expecting a fully comiled package, I'm assuming Squeezecenter
is compiled.

Anyway, everything went well and Puppy installed Squeezecenter. When I
checked the install for all its dependencies, it says all OK.

When I try to start squeezecenter I get:

# /etc/init.d/squeezecenter start
Starting Squeezecenter Audio Server/etc/init.d/squeezecenter: line 56:
start-stop-daemon command not found

Any ideas?
I thought I'd try here first and then pop off to the PL forum.
Thanks
Gaary
