I'll tell you want the path of least resistance is, it's called Windows. Just getting SC to even run on Fedora 11 was the biggest PITA I've had to deal with in recent times. Then just to get USB drives to read there is a whole extra configuration level for that. I too want to use Puppy Linux because it runs completely in RAM. Comparing my WHS installation to my Fedora installation, the Fedora one runs faster than the windows install using a HDD install, however it completely pales in comparison my WHS install on RAMdisk. So my only motivation to use linux now is to get the whole thing on RAMdisk. Otherwise I think Windows is clearly the path of least resistance. -- sxr71 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sxr71's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18773 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64337 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
