Hi, I'm currently using Ubuntu 9.04 as my OS for my music server. It
will wake from off without a problem, however the time that it take to
do this although not long, is longer than I'd like (wife isn't
impressed!).

Can anyone suggest some different options which they use that can wake
from a suspended state from a WOL packet from a SB3? I've looked into
the latest version of Ubuntu and seen that it still suffers from
problems with Suspend and when I tried to use the current version it
would shut down the network port when it suspended.

Another bonus would be for the OS to support software raid (mirrored)
which I know that the server version of Ubuntu does, I've currently got
a 500Gb HDD sitting there doing nothing as I can't afford a raid card!

Thanks for any suggestions.
