I didn't say SBS should be making NFS calls explicitly. Without looking
at the code, I can only assume that it's using a generic call for
directory information, one that doesn't support ACL.

If I trace "ls -l", it works.
If I trace apache, it works.
It I trace SBS, it doesn't work.

Why?

Why can a normal user get access to the NFS shares? Why can the Apache
service get access to the NFS shares? Why can't SBS get access? It
can't because it's doing something "different". Using a shortcut? Using
a deprecated function? I don't know. That's why it's a bug. That's why
it was submitted.

But the bug was marked as "working as expected". Could you at least
point me to the documentation or release notes that say SBS does not
support ACL? Then I can agree that it's working as expected. But until
then, it's still a bug.
