OP has left the building.. I was glad that i had LVM once, I managed to
rezise my swap partition vs the rest of the drive, I did not find it
easy or comfortable to do. all of the drive was allocated so a bit
fudgy.

i migth have read a manpage these or not designed to convey inteligble
information, but to indimitate noobs.

did not find any really comprehensive guide to LVM for noobs, found
some old rhel related info
