Hi there, Many thanks for your reply and a helpful one at that. I've learnt something I thought it didn't matter what state your drives were in to create and array but as most people keep saying I don't need to use Raid but if that is the case how do I get a Music folder to cover 1.5TB or more of music I'm want to load into the music folder.
My comment about where had the space gone in NTFS a 1TB drive when formatted leaves 931GB of space not 870GB of space when formatted with EXT4 I think that was what it was labelled as. Good point about the OS drive and Im not sure if that could be causing problems for me because obviously the Music folder is in that drive hence it only showing 212GB of available space for the Music folder. I do hope installing and getting Squeezebox to work on this system is going to be easier to resolve. Again many thanks for your help and advice, Tim. -- Tim-Ann ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tim-Ann's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12413 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89910
