I've been using LVM for years, and my root filesystem has always been installed on top of a logical volume. And I've been extending or shrinking it as needed without any matter. What didn't work previously was having /boot installed from a logical volume, but nowadays, with bootloaders like GRUB2, it doesn't seem to be a problem any more. -- sebp 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/sebp) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sebp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11768 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89910 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
