Hi all,

I am wondering if it possible to get a software player like SqueezePlay
or SqueezePlayer on Android to sync properly with real SqueezeBox
hardware like Radios and Touches?

I have three Radios and one Touch and often sync them all.

I run LMS on a Ubuntu 64bit server and own other Linux machines which I
would like a software player to work on

I ask as I have a Joggler and the sync is always off with the "real"
machines and likewise with SqueezePlayer on my Android devices. I have
also tried a Wine version of SqueezePlay which is also off. Due to the
echo effect I don't like using them while syncing with the real
SqueezeBoxes.

I want to have music in my home office and I have tried to use the above
software solutions and aren't happy with the echo effect and am thinking
if I should persevere with software running on either my Linux computer
or Joggler or just buy another Radio for £118 from Amazon before they
run out.

Has anyone got a software player syncing correctly with real machines?
If so please explain how to do it.

I would rather not have to buy another when technically a real computer
should work fine but will do so if needs be.

Thanks in advance,

Ian
