Thanks epoch1970. I have just download squeezelite and started using.
./squeezelite-x86-64 192.168.0.2 I seems to work pretty well so far - a little echo effect - but it seems better than other players I have used. I notice that on LMS there is a "Player Audio Delay (ms)" setting which may be worth trying, would you agree? >You could use "real-time" settings for your linux kernels and processes. That should help, too. But there is no substitute for dedicated hardware if you're looking for the best possible result. Would you be able to elaborate or point me to some more info.
