You could try the new 'squeezelite' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?97046-Announce-Squeezelite-a-small-headless-squeezeplay-emulator-for-linux-(alsa-only)) software player. Seems to work very, very well considering it is a software player running on a non deterministic OS.
You could use "real-time" settings for your linux kernels and processes. That should help, too. But there is no substitute for dedicated hardware if you're looking for the best possible result. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97336 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
