Hi thanks for the interest. I could make a larger image, so that you could add more stuff. I'm currently working on a new version (using kernel 3.11.1), so if you are interested I could make both a normal small version and a larger. Normally I would remove the large start.elf as picoreplayer is not using any of the graphical stuff, but would you be using that? I saw that the is a python-RPi.GPIO.tcz package which might be what you are looking for. If you need other packages, you can either make them yourself or ask for help at the microcore forum.
