Thank you for the feed-back. No I "only" need to get 44.1 and 48 kHz files to play fine through USB. Frankly I don't know why we are having these problems with the lower resolution files now. I think it must be a setting somewhere that is wrong, I don't think that the problem is the raspberry board, because it seems to be playing 88.2 96 and 192 kHz files fine through the USB.
