Hi,

I am trying to get Squeezelite running on the BBB with newly developed
drivers (see
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/twisted-pear/250583-building-open-embedded-audio-applicance-35.html#post3858770),
running on Debian 3.8.13-bone40 . However I get the following when I
start squeezelite:

Code:
--------------------
    root@arm:~# squeezelite -o hw:CARD=Botic
[19:40:11.979379] alsa_open:303 unable to get period size: Invalid argument
--------------------

Squeezelite does seem to run tho and shows under LMS but its behaving
strangely (when you pause goes back to start of track and restarts
playing the track). No sound. Testing the same drivers with
speaker_test does give sound.

I also got this message when I was testing with the I2S drivers that
come with that version of the kernel.

Any suggestions as to cause greatly appreciated.
