I have scoured the forums for Cubox, Arch Linux and here, but cannot find the answer. I followed some nice guides to get my Cubox running Arch Linux and Squeezelite, which is connected via the toslink cable to my integrated amp. While I get decent sound, it is definitely not bit perfect as when I play the exact same material (16/44.1 FLAC) via my SB Duet or Macbook (both toslink connected), it sounds MUCH better and the display on my integrated amp says PCM (with Squeezelite it never says that).
I also compared the Squeezelite settings to the Duet in LMS and they are configured identically. My guess is that there are some command line switches that I need to use when launching Squeezelite on my Cubox.
