Hi,

I am trying to get the output of squeezelite to work with alsaequal on
an ODROID U3 (ARMhf-board running Ubuntu 13.10 with ALSA). I installed
alsaequal as described here
http://www.thedigitalmachine.net/alsaequal.html.
If I start squeezelite with "-o equal" or "-o plugequal" I get the error
"*** Error in `./squeezelite': double free or corruption (!prev):
0x00039ae8 ***". It seems that squeezelite just doesn't like to use the
output of type "equal". "Speakter-test -D equal" and "Alsamixer -D
equal" work as expected and "aplay -L" shows the correct devices.

If I start squeezelite without the equalizer settings (e.g. direct
hardware output or dmixer) everything works fine. Other music players
like shairport or squeezeslave at least work with alsaequal, but show
some other strange behavior like only playing sound over hdmi and not
using the headphone jack any more).

Maybe anyone knows how to solve this problem? There might be some neeed
adjustments to the /etc/asound.conf file to prepare the output of
squeezelite to work with alsaequal and I tried a couple of things but
none worked... If I could get the equalizer working it would be a great
benefit for my project

as there is already a webinterface to control the equalizer but it lacks
squeezelite support.

Thanks for any help!
