> for the links JackOfAll. CLEARLY a hub has made a difference for
at least one person with a Wandboard and a DragonFly. But I think it's a
red herring on Cubox-I's. To explain why, I'll lay out a few facts...

1) _I_have_a_working,_bus_powered_hub_. I know this because I used it
yesterday to listen to FLACs from my iPhone, through it, to my
DragonFly, to my headphones.
2) That bus powered
_hub_does_not_improve_the_click/pop/crackle_in_any_way_on_Squeezelite_running_on_my_Cubox-I4_,
attached to my DragonFly. I know this because I tried it yesterday, and
repeated the test today. Hearing is believing.
3) That bus powered
_hub_does_not_improve_the_click/pop/crackle_in_any_way_on_Volumio_running_on_my_Cubox-I4_,
attached to my DragonFly, _when_playing_16/44.1_FLACs_ at their native
44.1 mHz. Again, tested yesterday, repeated today.
4) With _Volumio_running_on_the_Cubox-I4_, attached to the DragonFly,
but _with_the_bus_powered_hub_removed_, it plays with
_no_click/pop/crackle_. Tested yesteday, repeated today.

Net, net... this problem is not fixed by a powered hub on a Cubox-i4.
And on that same device, FLACs can be played click/pop/crackle free
through a DragonFly IF oversampling. In my limited test cases anyway.
