Hi and thanks for your answer. I had already tried swapping the cards (to see if it was a bad flash), but even the card that was previously in the working pi had the same symptoms. It might be a power issue, although I've measured the voltage and it hovers at 4.80 (tried with two other power adapters but it was more in the 4.70-4.73 range). This is also exactly the same power adapter as is working on the other pi, so maybe one board is more sensitive than the other (I also swapped the power supplies to make sure one was not faulty).
