Yes soundcheck you are completely right. You have found out what's te
problem. Compliments!
It's indeed a problem of my "el cheapo DIY USB-DAC"
When I connect my Musical Fidelity V-DAC II to the usb port of my
Hummingboard the volume is just as loud as with the Rpi. No problem at
all!
Just one question: why does the Rpi with SOA does not have this lower
volume issue with " el cheapo DIY USB-DACs"
