I looked up BananaPi and see they claim compatibility with RPi. So, if they are compatible and run the same software as RPi wouldn't they by definition have the same shortcomings as the RPi? I'm just trying to learn. I do understand that the the ethernet and usb bus is shared on the RPi which I believes leads to some problems. The improvements to the last year of RPi are due to software improvements or new hardware (e.g. RPi B2)?
Can Picoreplayer run natively on a BananaPi? Would there be an improvement in doing so? I see that the BananaPi is only $10 more at Newegg so it would not be cost prohibitive to buy if there are tangible benefits? -CB ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ctbarker32's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
