with RPi. So, if they are compatible and run the same software as RPi
wouldn't they by definition have the same shortcomings as the RPi? I'm
just trying to learn. I do understand that the the ethernet and usb bus
is shared on the RPi which I believes leads to some problems. The
improvements to the last year of RPi are due to software improvements or
new hardware (e.g. RPi B2)?

Can Picoreplayer run natively on a BananaPi? Would there be an
improvement in doing so? I see that the BananaPi is only $10 more at
Newegg so it would not be cost prohibitive to buy if there are tangible
benefits?
