I never used the C word, Soundcheck did! There are reasons to want to (or have to) release a piece of "new" functionality as "free" to use, but not to release the source code. Which have nothing to do with wanting to commercialise or make money from it! Adrian had reasons not to want to release the source code for the server-side component of his Spotify plugin. Not that he couldn't.
