Hi all, I've been using Squeezelite for a while now with limited success . It's such a great concept, really the missing link for those without good Squeezexxx hardware, but the vast majority of the documentation seems to be disbursed throughout this massive thread. My system specs really quick:
-Win 8.1 Shuttle type PC with Peachtree X1 USB-Spdif to receiver DAC. -LMS 7.8 -Squeezelite running as service -iPeng control (or local browser using LMS) -Primary use is to start a long random playlist which pauses at shutdown and automatically resumes at startup. I was using Triode's latest (I think) version for a while with WDM output. But I was getting random pauses and song restarts. For several months I switched to the inferior mobo analog outputs and had little trouble. I'd really like to get back to using digital as that's what this build was intended for. When I hooked everything back up I couldn't get any sound with WDM. So after some digging I found a newer non-Triode version of Squeezelite and upgraded to v1.8-566. The output list finally gave me an Asio option so I've been trying that. The problem I'm having is that I can get sound with the Asio outputs -- until I shutdown the system. When I reboot, LMS looks like it has resumed the playback but there is no sound. I have to stop/start the Squeezelite service to get the sound back. Any idea why this would be happening? Here are my startup parameters from the bat file. I don't think I configured the log correctly as I have no log file in the Squeezelite folder. E:\oven\Squeezelite\Squeezelite-win.exe -o 4 -n b3ndRlite -b 2000:2000 -s 192.168.0.111 -d all=debug -f /log.log I would so much like to get this system working as it should. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ M7CC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62373 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
