Probably just needs the same "snd_soc_limit_volume(codec, "Digital Playback Volume", 207);" in the Berry ASoC driver, as is already used in the IQAudio driver, to prevent going above 0db. (Both use PCM512x codec.) I assume Gordon's driver added the limit to prevent this specific issue. I'll patch myself over the weekend and test with Berry.
