Hmmm. I'd have to look.... I though 207 == 0db. 

No just hifiberry_dacplus. Original hifiberr_dac uses pcm5102, not
pcm5122 IIRC.

I've attached a patch. I've not tried this yet, but if you apply and
rebuild kernel I think it'll get you what you want. Max on that Digital
control will now be 0db. So "-V Digital" with squeezelite and 100% vol
in LMS web gui would give you 0db on that control, if I'm right.
