Thx for the heads up. Good to know it's a known issue. The solution looks great. You'd basically have to patch both (or three) Hifiberry drivers, correct?
snd_soc_pcm512x,snd_soc_hifiberry_dac,snd_soc_hifiberry_dacplus,... I've seen (over at Rune Audio) that Gordon set 100% to +4db (not sure if this is still the case). That would still lead to clipping as it seems. Hmmh.
