Sorry I should have checked back in earlier. I just moved the system back out the car (did I mention it's a car system)? But 'this' (https://www.mediafire.com/folder/4q8dvq20iyz9e/Builds#b4g5nz845swp5) is where I got the download (1.8.0_566).
WDM/KS didn't work either. I was getting pops and clicks. So I switched to WASAPI. So far, no pops, resume works. Fingers crossed. BTW my Peachtree converter's USB Streaming Mode was set at Standard which should be fine considering playing stereo tracks one at a time is really all this system does -- but I set it to Safe just in case. The only thing I'm concerned about is the original issue. Sometimes after hours of problem free playing, a track would pause for a sec, then either resume or start over. In a few cases the song would restart several times. I have no idea what would cause that except maybe a bad hard drive. That's why I ran using mobo analog outs for several weeks -- no problems so I am generally assuming LMS/Squeezelite/Windows/HDD are OK.
