Back in the WB days I (think I) never tested USB. I had built a custom SPDIF interface (with a coax option) and used this interface to connected it to my M-DAC. Well in all honesty, this has been on my mind. The SPDIF hats aren't that expensive. But since the USB was there I though I'd give it a go. USB basically works quite well apart from the issue as described. It is strange though that the issue appears only after a long listening session (6, 7 hours or so).
