I don't know how big a Squeezelite binary is - there's about 129MB left, and that's without me attempting to tidy up the Jivelite folder, or remove the headers that are used for compiling (so redundant in an installed system). So I think there'd be room. I'd guess that an applet to start and stop a local instance of Squeezelite ought to be possible, and the SQPOS applet for managing the audio interface could probably be copied across I expect. I hope I'm not giving the impression that I'm one of those two people though! I really have only the sketchiest idea how Lua works - I've figured out how to comment out a line of code, but that's about it. I may look into it though, once I'm happy with all the details of the Jivelite install. I may not know what I'm doing, but I know a nice man in Canada who does. :) What I'm hoping to do anytime soon is post an installable internal image for flashing Jivelite to the Joggler, but also a tarball of the contents of the root partition, so that others with more skills in this area could take it forward. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110040 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
