I owe you a pint (or two)! I had found 'syncthing.net' (https://pimylifeup.com/raspberry-pi-syncthing/), and somewhat overthinking it, decided it was unsuitable as I would have to replace PiCore with a full featured OS like Raspberry Pi OS to install the client, which I didn't really want to do. Then I saw your post and it dawned on me that the client doesn't have to be on the Pi (Doh!). I have the music directory on my Pi set as a network drive in Win 10, so I'm just pointing the app from one folder to another in Windows. I'm pretty sure I could have done the same thing with syncthing. This is almost exactly what I was looking for, in fact I have a shortcut on my desktop now called RealTimeSync, which I'm hoping monitors folders in realtime, which would make it exactly as I had before , yay! Its really easy to use and previews all the potential changes when you configure it. It was only when I realised the cause of the problem that I started to discover the scope. FreeFileSync identified that little hidden line of config in Media Monkey had changed 11,768 filenames, and is now in the process of correcting them. So, not only did you come up with a great suggestion, but also helped me see that I wasn't limited to running the client on the Pi. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mellon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69383 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114789
