> Re: Help with OSX install? Helping could be very long, but i can confirm that scsi and graphic card are the source of big problems. My S900 runs with a mactell G3 333mhz overclocked to 424 with SCSI (all on the same "fast" 10mb/s internal port: seagate 4G for osx and IBM 4G for os 9, pioneer dvdrom and yamaha 4/8/16cdrw terminated(wouldn't start X CD) + passive terminator (it's a black bar with some resistors inside) I suffered the broken folder until double terminated my scsi (i don't think if this could be the solution for everyone but as a last solution, try it) I installed Xwith a rage pro, but can use it with my matrox (didn't work with my beige G3), twin turbo (with some strange coulored blocks at startup)radeon 7000 (didn't work) formac card worked with strange coloured bars at start up You can also select verbose mode inside xpostfacto, verbose was the way to undestand cd reading was the problem for me. I let my orange usb/firewire at install and worked well, also interleaved memory worked with no troubles Good luck Mathias -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
