Thanks. I did find this after I dug around on the XPostFacto site
after I posted. I'm kinda peeved (only a tiddly bit, Ryan's doing a
great job generally with XPostFacto), call me a man bereft of my
priorities but I'd much rather it worked on the large majority of
desktops first before it ran on Powerbooks, the pre-G3 Powerbooks,
after all, are not ideally suited to running OS X as they have
wierdosties, slow video, slow CPUs and slower hard disks. This will
just make the OS X experience a lot more painful, after all it's
reknowned for being slow (but bearable I might add - I have a 300MHz
iBook and use it 24/7) on G3 laptops unless you have a 600MHz iBook
are a TiBook 550 or faster.
No, I'd much rather see the desktops work before he starts mincing
about with the Powerbooks. According to most people I've asked the
6500/275 and 6500/300 are faster than a 7300 and have an ATi Rage II
accelerated video chip (not that the actual acceleration is supported
in OS X) and so see to me prime candidates for Legacy OS X support.

AppleTalk seems to work fine on my 7300. As for G3 upgrades I'd use
my 7300 for an upgrade as it has more room for RAM and expansion
cards and the whole G3 upgrade thing is faster and less painful.
