Andrew, if you want all you need go get started go to http://www.theilgaard.dk/ and have a look at "Mac OS X Server configuration" manual. I have followed it blindly and in about a couple of hours I had configured a decent server that can do a lot. It cost $20 tho but it's money well spend as far as I'm concerned. All the instructions are easy to follow and there is some stuff I haven't found explained anywhere else. It was a very good introduction to UNIX for me. Also a good place to start is http://homepage.mac.com/johnd/album.html. I have found "Tips & Tricks" very useful and it made me appreciate NetInfo more.
