Thanks for the list. I forgot about Quantum, I still have about 30 of the 80-500MB drives laying around.....okay, maybe not 30, but a lot of them!
IBM was my all time favorite, they made some rock solid drives, but I haven't bought a drive in almost 3years! As for quantum, they no longer make drives either, Maxtor owns their HardDrive division. I hear mixed reviews of the maxtor drives, of course, I never expected much from a company that was basically born from micropolis. :p I guess that pretty much leaves Seagate and WesternDigital (WD has a lot of DOA drives hanging around it seems, but they have a fairly good warranty replacement) -Robyn On Saturday, August 3, 2002, at 10:52 PM, Will S wrote: >> > Quantum are first on my list.
