I think you can, assuming you didn't do major modifications to it. I once loaded OS 10.1 on an external SCSI drive attached to a modestly upgraded 7500 (128 MB RAM, 180MHz 604e). I then attached that drive to another, more upgraded 7500/G3 and a highly upgraded 8500/G4 and it worked fine. However, Carbon Copy Cloning it to a faster internal SCSI drive on the 8500 did not work for some reason. I've heard CCC doesn't work well with Old World Macs, so check into that more. -- _______________________ Phil Lefebvre Chicago, IL -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX@;mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX-off@;mail.maclaunch.com> For digest mode, email: <mailto:UnsupportedOSX-digest@;mail.maclaunch.com> Subscription questions: <mailto:listmom@;lemlists.com> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
