If you want things dumbed-down for you, then by all means continue using MacOoooze 9. If you want to use a real, grown-up OS, then use OS X.
After nearly 20 years, the Mac finally has an OS that doesn't suck, and NOW you complain!

I am about as committed to Mac OS X as they come but this back and forth bashing makes me feel like its a bad thing. OS X can be better, it always can be better, it will continue to get better. No one is preaching OS 9 in this argument but man, your approach isn't going to have people banging down Apple's door.
