Hi Listers...
Just popped an ATI Rage128 16mb card into my 7600 running 10.2.6.
One: I got a faster boot time. Not sure, but normally is about a two minute process.
Two: When I got an About This Macintosh window and dragged it around the 1024x768 screen it was nice and smooth at thousands of colors on my 20" Sun.
Three: "Out of the Box" as it were it was sent to Millions and 1152x900 and it seemed to perform well.
This was a great $20 I spent. Next best thing to a Radeon 7k I spose...I guess a little hw acceleration goes a long way under X.

That's great to hear that it worked so well for you. So, where did you get the Rage128 for $20??
