Although technically a "supported" platform, I do think there are challenges to using this system for OS X.
Apple "officially" lists a Power Mac G3 as "supporting" Panther, but right at the end of the list of requirements is built-in USB. Last time I checked, there wasn't such a thing on >any< G3. I am also getting differing opinions on the useability of OS X running on a 500 mhz G3. Some say it is just fine, some say it is unuseable. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
